As much as we all love food, we need to be conscious of our health and the role the food we eat plays in our well being.
I’m a firm believer that our lifestyle, daily activities have an impact in our health.
The goals should be:
- If you have no illnesses- you should keep it this way! By prevention ie. eating right, eating the right food and exercise etc.
- If you have a chronic disease- you should be concerned about preventing complications by doing as above and any other things specific to your disease.
enough babbling, moral of the story today is : Try harder to stay away from butter when cooking/ as bread spread and Sunflower oil
i know it tastes delicious but if you want to continue tasting things delicious, it’s best to find substitutes.
So what are the possible substitutes?
– Substitute butter for margarine high in omega 3 and 6. Actually any margarine is better than butter!
– You can also replace butter/sunflower oil with Canola oil, Olive oil, Vegetable oil- whichever you can afford. Obviously extra-virgin olive oil is best in this category.
