Gin and lemonade with a twist.

It’s Phuza Thursday again, and the question is, What am I drinking?

After a long day, I enjoy a basic but refreshing Gin and tonic in front of the TV watching my recorded food shows. Today I feel like something refreshing but a little sweeter. So instead of tonic water, I’m drinking my gin with lemonade. And my twist; the addition of Pineapple and Jack fruit liqueur, this adds a different flavour profile. The jack fruit gives this drink an interesting taste.

So for this I need: Gin, Pineapple and Jack fruit liqueur, lemonade and slices of orange.

In a beer glass, throw in ice, then start layering. The slices of orange first, then 2 shots of gin( 50ml), 1 shot of pineapple and jack fruit liqueur and topped with lemonade.

Not the best looking drink but the taste more than makes up for it. Not all good looking things are good 🙂
